Information about the position

SSE Sweden manufactures and markets civil explosives for infrastructure projects. The company produces ANFO and emulsion explosives and provides and distributes cartridge explosives, detonators, and accessories. The production facility and headquarters are located in Olofsbergsgruvan, Gyttorp, just northwest of Nora.

SSE is growing, and we at Professionals Nord are looking for a Business Controller on behalf of SSE Sweden. The assignment is part of our staffing services. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at SSE for six months. The intention is that you may eventually be hired directly by them, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

Job responsibilities

In the role of Business Controller, you will be based in Gyttorp. You will have a central role in developing and ensuring effective financial governance. You will work closely with management and contribute to the company's success by leading financial processes, providing strategic insights, and creating conditions for stable and sustainable economic development.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Leading budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial performance and identify areas for improvement
• Conducting analyses of key figures and trends and creating reports that provide the CEO and management team with clear insights into the company's financial situation
• Managing cash flow and ensuring that the company has access to funds for both operational and growth-related needs
• Handling accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls to ensure accurate and transparent financial information
• Working closely with management to ensure appropriate financial guidance and decision-making support for long-term growth

We are looking for someone who

has a bachelor's degree in economics and is either a recent graduate with the right drive or has a few years of experience in controlling. You have good knowledge of both Swedish and English, spoken and written, as SSE operates in an international environment. Furthermore, you possess knowledge in Excel and have a valid driver's license.
