We are currently looking for a consultant for an exciting and strategically important assignment in the risk and compliance area with one of our clients in Karlskoga. Here, you will step into an organization with international reach, where your contribution will be crucial for the purchasing department to operate safely, sustainably, and in accordance with regulations.

About the Assignment

In the role of Risk, Opportunity & Compliance Manager, you will be an important part of the purchasing department.

You will, among other things:

• Drive and develop work related to risk and compliance issues.
• Be a support and sounding board for colleagues in purchasing, supplier quality, and supply chain.
• Conduct audits and ensure that processes are followed.
• Ensure that the purchasing department complies with both local laws and customer requirements.
• Represent purchasing during audits related to, for example, ISO 27001, FAR, and DFARS.
• Actively work to assess, follow up, and improve compliance at international facilities.
• Report key figures and risks to management.
• Participate in projects and collaborate across departmental boundaries.

The role is based in Karlskoga. Travel is expected, primarily within Sweden but also internationally.

About You

We believe you have a relevant academic background in engineering, economics, law, or similar – and several years of experience working with risk and compliance issues. You are accustomed to taking responsibility, see the big picture, and have an eye for detail.

You feel comfortable:

• Working independently but also together with others.
• Communicating clearly – both in Swedish and English.
• Navigating regulations, contracts, and standards.
• Driving improvements and taking initiative.

Previous experience in supply chain or information security is a plus.
