Möjligheternas Hus AB is a wholly owned municipal company within the Emmaboda municipal group. The company is tasked by Emmaboda municipality or its companies to provide services in the environmental and labor market areas.

Our mission at the employment center is to identify workplaces and provide meaningful work tasks to people who are far from the labor market, guiding them back to work or studies.

We are looking for someone who would like to work with us as a Case Officer within the employment center.

About the position

As a case officer, you will be the link between the individual, our own operations, and external parties in the public and private sectors.

We work to bring the individual closer to self-sufficiency through studies or work.

Together with authorities, we establish action plans based on the individual's goals. As a case officer, you work according to the individual's conditions in consultation with relevant authorities such as the Employment Service, Social Services, and the Social Insurance Agency. The work begins by clarifying the need for support and what can be offered. This is followed by efforts to find a workplace, a place for work training, or other employment in consultation with the individual. As a case officer, you provide support to the supervisors as long as there is a need. Continuous support for the employer at the workplace is central to your mission. The goal is for the individual to obtain and be able to retain employment in some form based on their own conditions.

Documentation and follow-ups are carried out continuously in our operational system, Accorda. The work focuses on the entire municipality's labor market situation and the company's common direction.

The employment is with Möjligheternas Hus AB, located at the Employment Center. You will also work with others within the company and other partners.

Responsibilities

Creating networks with companies/employers is essential to provide individuals with opportunities for internships, work training, and possibly a way into the labor market.

Participate in and, in some cases, also project lead/coordinating projects.

Document, follow up, and produce statistics in our operational system, Accorda.

Collaborate with actors such as the Social Insurance Agency, Social Services, the Education Administration, the Employment Service, probation services, and the business community.

Qualifications

A university degree deemed suitable for the tasks. We expect you to have good knowledge of the labor market and experience working with matching to the open labor market. You have the ability to follow up on goals and results. You have social competence and enjoy collaborating with others. It is important that you feel comfortable creating new contacts and also like to work independently towards set goals.

Part of your work may involve group activities, so we prefer that you have good pedagogical skills and experience working in groups. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required, along with administrative skills and good computer literacy. Knowledge of English is an advantage.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

A driving license (B) is a requirement for the position.
