About the Position

As a Security and Preparedness Coordinator, you will develop, lead, support, and coordinate work within security, preparedness, crisis management, and continuity planning. Your role encompasses both internal operations and external assignments for clients. The work is carried out daily within Kalmar, Kronoberg, and Blekinge, but other locations across the country may also be relevant. You will work broadly with physical security, personal safety, information security, operational reliability, and fire protection. In crisis preparedness, you are responsible for maintaining and developing the organization's crisis management capability at a central level while also supporting local crisis management functions. Cybersecurity is handled in collaboration with our business area NIT (National IT), which has special expertise in the field, and the head of NIT leads the cybersecurity work.

The work environment is led by the HR function, but all work related to personal safety must be well coordinated in a seamless collaboration between the functions and is therefore also part of your work. We work in many different environments ranging from advisory roles with solo advisors to schools, which is our largest business area with approximately 650 high school students across three different locations. In advisory roles, we perform work in agriculture, forestry, and aquaculture, and we operate both in offices, on land, on water, and in water.

Your role also includes strengthening our continuity capability. Our continuity capability should be planned at a level that allows the operation of our three schools to be maintained during various disruptions and crises in society.

A significant part of the assignment is to educate and instruct staff in the area in a pedagogical manner.

You will plan and conduct training and exercises, formulate and update procedures and guidelines, and handle urgent matters, incidents, and security-related issues. Your work will be carried out in close collaboration with other functions within the organization, including subsidiaries.

Limitations

• Work environment issues are handled by the HR function.
• Cybersecurity work is led by the National IT business area.
• Quality work within the schools is led by the school principal.

About You

We are looking for someone with a strong background in security, quality, or crisis management. You are analytical, communicative, and accustomed to working in a dynamic environment. You have documented experience in developing and implementing strategies within SQC.

Qualifications

To take on this broad assignment, we see that you need education and experience in at least one of the following areas: Security, fire, crisis management, preparedness handling, and risk management. It is particularly advantageous to have knowledge and experience in security work in school environments and work with preparedness issues within total defense.

A B driver's license is required for the position, as travel is included in the job.

Employment and Placement

The position is a permanent full-time employment that begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date is according to agreement.

As security is an important part of the operation, background checks and security interviews will be conducted prior to potential employment.

You will report directly to the CEO, who is also your immediate supervisor.

Placement is possible at any of our six offices in Kalmar, Ingelstad, Gamleby, or Bräkne-Hoby.
