As a Security and Preparedness Coordinator, you will develop, lead, support, and coordinate work within security, preparedness, crisis management, and continuity planning. Your role encompasses both internal operations and external assignments for clients. The work is performed daily in Kalmar, Kronoberg, and Blekinge, but other locations around the country may also be relevant. You will work broadly with physical security, personal safety, information security, operational security, and fire protection. In crisis preparedness, you are responsible for maintaining and developing the organization's crisis management capabilities at the central level while also supporting local crisis management functions. Cybersecurity is handled in collaboration with our business area NIT (National IT), which has specialized knowledge in the field, and the head of NIT leads the work on cybersecurity.
The work with occupational health and safety is led by the HR function, but all work related to personal safety must be well coordinated in a seamless collaboration between functions and is therefore also part of your job. We work in many different environments, ranging from consulting with solo advisors to schools, which is our largest business area with approximately 650 high school students at three different locations. In consulting, we perform work in agriculture, forestry, and aquaculture, and we work both in offices, on land, on water, and in water.
Your role also includes strengthening our continuity capabilities. Our continuity capabilities must be planned at a level that allows the operation of our three schools to be maintained during various disruptions and crises in society.
A significant part of the assignment includes educating and instructing staff in the area in a pedagogical manner.
You will plan and conduct training and exercises, formulate and update routines and guidelines, and handle urgent matters, incidents, and security-related issues. Your work will be in close collaboration with other functions within the organization, including subsidiaries.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in security, quality, or crisis management. You are analytical, communicative, and accustomed to working in a dynamic environment. You have documented experience in developing and implementing strategies within SQC.
QualificationsTo take on this broad assignment, we see that you need education and experience in at least one of the following areas: Security, fire, crisis management, preparedness handling, and risk management. It is particularly advantageous for us to have knowledge and experience of security work in school environments and working with preparedness issues within total defense.
We operate in a dynamic environment where rapid changes are the norm. To succeed in your work and enjoy it, you need to be rational, solution-oriented, and proactive. You must enjoy working closely with others, appreciate working in a school environment, and we place high demands on how we interact with each other, valuing our students' well-being and safety.
A B driver's license is required for the position, as travel is included in the work.
Employment and PlacementThe position is a permanent full-time employment that begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date is according to agreement. Since security is an important part of the operations, background checks and security interviews will be conducted prior to a possible employment. You will report directly to the CEO, who is also your immediate supervisor. Placement is possible at one of our six offices in Kalmar, Ingelstad, Gamleby, or Bräkne-Hoby.
At Hushållningssällskapet, you will have the opportunity to develop; your work is characterized by freedom under responsibility while contributing to the development of the green sector and a vibrant countryside. You will have the opportunity to work with broad and varied tasks while receiving support and resources to succeed in your role.
