We are now looking for two new specialists in housing allowance, with placement in one of the locations where housing allowance is processed: Kalmar, Skellefteå, or Gävle. We are looking for someone who enjoys structure and thrives in a coaching role in a fast-paced environment.

Coaching, Development, and Collaboration

As a specialist, you provide advice and support to caseworkers regarding insurance interpretation and current processing procedures. By coaching the caseworkers, you contribute to ensuring they have the right skills to meet the needs of applicants and insured individuals. You actively contribute to creating a workplace learning climate and identify the overall competence needs, initiating possible development paths. As a specialist in housing allowance, you are responsible for developing training materials, introducing new employees, conducting insurance meetings, and information sessions related to the benefit. As an employee at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, you have a high level of security awareness since the agency deals with confidential information. Your work includes contributing to the change and development of processes, and you play an important role in implementing regulatory and process changes. The assignment also includes supporting unit managers in monitoring the quality of case handling and being a support to the local management team on matters related to your area of expertise. As a specialist in housing allowance, you are part of a team of specialists and have close collaboration with the benefit's unit managers. The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you have a high level of security awareness.

We are looking for someone who

  • has a university degree or equivalent experience and qualifications
  • has experience in case handling and expertise in housing allowance
  • has a coaching approach
  • can understand and analyze complex issues
  • acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
  • has good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • is confident and trustworthy, even in stressful situations
  • collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals.

It is advantageous if you

  • have in-depth knowledge of social insurance, administrative law, and public access and confidentiality
  • have good knowledge of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's organization
  • are used to working efficiently and structured in a fast-paced environment.
