In the role of controller, we offer you a varied and qualified job in an exciting environment.

You will work from a holistic perspective in collaboration with other support functions to contribute to the organization achieving its goals. The role is supportive and consultative towards the hospital's managers. The tasks include, among other things, monitoring and analyzing finances and healthcare production, developing key performance indicators, budget and forecasting work, as well as business development.

As a controller with us, you will be part of an engaged team of six employees at the County Hospital. In your role, there may also be collaboration with other financial units within Region Kalmar County.

About You

We are looking for someone with a university or college degree, preferably with a focus on finance or another equivalent education. You have experience from similar tasks in controlling, preferably from the public sector. We also hope you are interested in business management.

To succeed in this position, it is important that you are analytical and solution-focused, as well as possessing a high level of service. As a person, you are confident and enjoy working in a team, but you can also work independently. You take initiative and are curious about new solutions and working methods, and you have a positive attitude while planning your work in a structured way. Furthermore, you are attentive, proactive, and have clear communication in your interactions with the organizations. Personal suitability will be given great importance.

Your Future Workplace

The Finance Unit and HR Unit, together with business development, provide administrative support for the operations at the county hospital and the Diagnostic Center. We have HR consultants, HR assistants, controllers, business developers, patient safety coordinators, and secretaries working with us. The unit operates in activity-based office landscapes.

Kalmar County Hospital is one of three hospitals in Kalmar County. The hospital is an emergency hospital with specialist care, maternity care, and postnatal care. Over 2300 people work here to provide good care and high patient safety for the county's residents. Our employees' continuous development efforts enable us to achieve good results in several national measurements. The hospital is located near Kalmar city center and Kalmarsund.
