Coordinator for the Central Pharmaceutical Register
Do you thrive in a coordinating role with overall responsibility in a technical environment? Do you want to be involved in developing our central pharmaceutical register? Then this could be the role for you.
About the Position
You will have overall responsibility for VARA – our central register for pharmaceutical products as well as the consumables and food items included in the pharmaceutical benefits.
You will be responsible for major investigations and process work related to the register. You will work with a cross-functional team to ensure that the product meets customer needs, business goals, regulatory requirements, and that the development work follows the authority's governing and supporting processes.
This is a development opportunity for you who enjoy having overall responsibility for a product. You will have a lot of collaboration and contact points, both internally and externally. In this role, you will work with both analysis and writing tasks such as responding to referrals, producing various types of documentation, and drafting reports. The area is constantly evolving, and you will be involved in driving our change work with VARA.
About You
This role suits you who thrive in a collaborative role where you have many contacts, both internally and externally. You are skilled at giving presentations and can adapt your message to the people in front of you. It is a given for you to take responsibility for your own work, and you can also lead and coordinate others' work. You see the bigger picture and can make trade-offs in complex issues.
We are looking for someone who has:
- relevant academic education in fields such as pharmacy, health and welfare sciences, or systems development
- current and relevant experience in coordination/project management within healthcare, pharmacy, or pharmaceutical companies
- good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
It is advantageous for the position if you have:
- current experience of investigative work at an authority
- current experience of agile working methods.

The employment is permanent with a six-month probationary period. Start date as soon as possible or according to agreement. The place of employment is Kalmar or Stockholm. The work may involve business trips, mainly between Kalmar and Stockholm.
Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. Therefore, we may need to conduct a security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). For some tasks in the security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
