JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented individual who wants to be part of our team in the finance department. With us, you will have the opportunity to work with both operational and strategic financial tasks while contributing to the development and streamlining of our processes.

Your tasks as an accounting assistant will include a wide range of responsibilities, including:

• Ongoing accounting
• Accounts receivable and payable
• Handling of incoming and outgoing payments
• Year-end reconciliations
• VAT reporting
• Contact with customers and suppliers
• Supporting the organization with data preparation for analysis
• Driving improvements based on financial analyses
• Relieving managers with invoice coding

In addition to ongoing accounting tasks, you will also be involved in work related to performance monitoring and budgeting, as well as working closely with operations. You will be responsible for ensuring high quality in accounting while supporting the organization in financial matters and collaborating with other functions in the organization.

In this role, you will work closely with our business controller and CFO. You will also play an important role in daily financial operations and help develop the association's finance function moving forward.

You will report to the head of finance & administration.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least a relevant education in finance at the high school level or experience that we consider equivalent
• Has several years of experience in accounting, accounts receivable and payable, and similar tasks
• Is accustomed to handling administrative tasks and payments
• Has an eye for detail and is meticulous in your work
• Is a self-driven and responsible person who enjoys collaborating in a team
• Has an interest in improvement work as well as digitalization and streamlining of financial processes
• Has a good understanding of systems in general and how they communicate with each other, as well as a good understanding of how reports are structured and tailored based on needs and key figures.

A requirement is that you have good proficiency in Excel. It is also advantageous if you have experience with Visma or other similar accounting systems.
