We are looking for a skilled and experienced Database Specialist to join our team, focusing on optimizing and maintaining enterprise database environments. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement, planning necessary technical changes, and executing them with the full support of your team.

The role includes hands-on work in database tuning, infrastructure optimization, and ongoing database maintenance, ensuring smooth and efficient operations in a high-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced database administration tasks on platforms such as SAP ASE (Sybase), MSSQL, Oracle, or similar.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues with a focus on root cause analysis in large-scale systems.
• Collaborate with the team to continuously improve database performance and stability.
• Maintain and optimize Linux/UNIX-based environments for database operations.
• Work on database tuning and optimize database performance.
• Ensure proper documentation for database configurations, troubleshooting processes, and improvements.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Several years of experience in database administration with SAP ASE, MSSQL, Oracle, or similar systems.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX environments and experience working in these systems.
• Proven ability to conduct advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis on complex database systems.
• A relevant educational background in Computer Engineering or a similar field.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• A methodical, structured approach to problem-solving and execution.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
