At the Swedish Tax Agency's IT department, we build not only great systems but also the foundation for a well-functioning society.

About the job

We work with much more than just taxes; our IT systems also create conditions for population registration, democratic elections, crime fighting, and international cooperation. Transforming our complex operations into intuitive and effective solutions for the customer is part of the creative challenge, enabled by the Swedish Tax Agency's ambition to be at the forefront of methods and technology.

The public good is our focus, and our mission is long-term, which is why we invest in sustainable and future-proof solutions with low technical debt. We are in an ongoing system renewal where we are introducing modern technology and developing our architecture. The development environment includes Red Hat OpenShift, Java, SpringBoot, React, Jenkins, and Cypress.

You will be part of a self-organizing and cross-functional system development team where we work together to achieve common goals. The team has overall responsibility for its deliveries and works in a culture where collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement are in focus. The focus is on test development, meaning developing and implementing test solutions and test cases for the systems the team is responsible for. You will further develop and optimize our test automation framework and be responsible for the efficient execution of automated tests and analyzing the results. Additionally, you will be involved in our DevOps process and contribute to system development as needed.
