Embedded Software Engineer at Axis in Lund

We are currently looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join Axis in Lund. You will be part of a team working on hardware-near development and deep learning.

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development of Axis's product platform. You will work with a dedicated team of engineers to design, develop, and test software for key components within Axis's Deep Learning (DL) offering. The team works on evaluating, integrating, and validating DL IPs and accelerators, developing and maintaining the DL runtime API & Service to load models and run inferences on HW. The team collaborates with internal and external teams/customers using our API for developing analytics applications.

This is a full-time position starting immediately or as soon as we find the right person. The work is scheduled during regular office hours, Monday to Friday, and you will be based at the company's office in Lund. You will be employed by StudentConsulting with the intention of being directly hired by the company after a probation period.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, electronics, physics, mathematics, or equivalent.
• At least 3-5 years of experience with C/C++, embedded systems, and Linux.
• You are a team player who enjoys and is inspired by working with new people from different parts of the organization and embraces agile development methods.
• A genuine interest in deep learning-based solutions and an interest in hardware-near programming.
• You have good knowledge of Swedish and English.

Additional experience is a plus:

• Git, Gerrit, and Jenkins
• Previous work experience with Edge DL-based platforms and various DL frameworks
• AI/Machine Learning
