APL, Apotek Produktion & Laboratorier AB, is tasked with manufacturing extemporaneous medicines, which are individualized medications for a specific patient, aimed at improving and saving lives. Many formulations are made for children and for adults with various types of hypersensitivity. APL is state-owned and one of Europe’s largest manufacturers of extemporaneous medicines and is also an established contract manufacturer within the life science industry with resources for development, manufacturing, and analysis of pharmaceuticals. APL's approximately 500 employees work at four manufacturing units across Sweden.

About the position
Do you want to work with technical support at a company that fulfills an important social function? Are you driven and service-oriented with a strong interest in IT and technology? Are you also outgoing, flexible, and structured in your work? Then the position of IT Support Technician at APL is for you!
As an IT Support Technician at APL, you will work in a varied environment between the office and production. Within the framework of APL's management model, you will have shared responsibility for the technical operation and support of several systems/applications.
You will work independently and broadly within IT, providing first-line support to the entire company via the APL Service Desk. You will also provide second-line support to the local unit in Malmö. Furthermore, your tasks will include:
- ordering, installing, and maintaining clients, printers, conference and network equipment, smartphones, etc.
- administering permissions and accounts in Entra ID, Microsoft365, and APL's other production systems
- keeping IT guides and procedure descriptions updated and current
- introducing new employees to general IT usage, rules, and the policies we work by
About APL's IT unit
IT & Digitalization is a growing unit currently consisting of 18 employees who handle the entire company's IT support and IT infrastructure. Our IT infrastructure is Microsoft-based with VMware and Terminal Server as remote platforms, consisting of approximately 600 clients and more than 200 virtual servers.
We are a creative and goal-oriented IT department that constantly strives to develop within the technical platform and meet the current and future IT support needs of the business.
Your background and profile
- You have relevant technical upper secondary education with elements of IT or at least 2 years of work experience in IT-related management
- You can demonstrate a strong interest in technology, software, and how you have consciously developed in the field.
- You have good knowledge of working with Windows clients
Additionally, knowledge of the following is meritorious:
- Production-related peripheral equipment such as scales, scanners, and lab equipment.
- Microsoft365, Intune, Windows Server, Terminal Server, Exchange Server, Teams, Endpoint Manager, and Entra ID
- Virtualization, integration platforms, and general network knowledge
You work proactively with a solution-oriented focus, supporting employees, projects, and investments with IT technical expertise, which requires a high sense of service, flexibility, and teamwork.
Some administration, documentation, and testing are included in the position, so it is important that you are meticulous and structured in your work.
A significant part of troubleshooting requires a good understanding of the English language. Furthermore, you communicate well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
