Job Responsibilities

In your role as a system administrator at the Urban Planning Office, you will coordinate, drive, and be responsible for the management of the office's system landscape. You will serve as a link to the operational managers for each system regarding development, procurement, contract monitoring, disposal, upgrades, integrations, databases, and documentation. The office has a system landscape that ranges from a few larger operational systems to several small software applications. All systems are included in the system management model, but the scope varies depending on the size of the system. You will also support the organization in the annual creation and follow-up of development plans that constitute the office's budget basis.

In your role as a system administrator, you will also contribute IT expertise in development and digitalization projects and participate in various networks within the City of Malmö.

Qualifications

We expect you to have a relevant university degree in system management/IT or another education deemed equivalent by the employer. You have several years of work experience in system management and express yourself well in the Swedish language, both verbally and in writing.

It is advantageous if you have worked with information security, databases, the iFacts system, and/or project management.

As a person, you have a structured approach to work and can plan, organize, and prioritize your tasks effectively. To succeed in the role, it is also required that you are service-oriented, a good listener, and development-oriented. The role of system administrator is new in the office, so you will need to be proactive, self-driven, flexible, and responsible.
