About the Position

Do you have an engineering degree and a burning interest in IT and technology, and want to work on projects with quality? Then you might be the one we are looking for! This position is a consultancy assignment, where you will initially be employed by Poolia, with a great possibility that the assignment will transition into a direct employment with Axis Communications over time.

Your Main Responsibilities

As a tester, you are the spider in the web and play a crucial role in delivering quality to Axis Communications' customers. You will be involved in the entire development process, from requirements specification to final delivery. You will work in a development team with close collaboration with developers and work together with both junior and senior testers. As a tester, you will help customize products according to customer needs by developing and driving test solutions. Testing will be conducted manually and automatically using both scripted and exploratory methods. You will contribute to the innovative testing work at Axis Communications' R&D department located in Lund.

Who Are You?

You are a newly graduated engineer with a focus on computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable field. In addition to your technical interest, you have basic knowledge of network technology. You have an understanding and preferably experience in TCP/IP, Routing & Switching, DNS, Proxy & DHCP.

You have at least basic experience in testing or programming in a Linux environment. We would like you to have experience with several distributions, and for example, have set up your own Linux servers for hobby projects.

You are encouraged to be curious and creative, as innovation is important for Axis Communications. You have a genuine interest in technology and problem-solving. You are a communicative person who enjoys working in a team and thrives in an open and dynamic environment. The qualities required to succeed in this role are that you should be structured and meticulous.

You have good communication skills in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
