Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done. The client has Down syndrome and autism, and as a personal assistant, you need to be interested in providing inspiration and activating both indoors and outdoors.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a guy in his 30s living in the countryside in Gullaskruv
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• has a B driver's license and access to a car (since the client lives with his family in the countryside)
• is tolerant of pets
• enjoys finding activities both indoors and outdoors
• is inventive and creative

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience in similar work
• have experience with Down syndrome and/or autism

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 37.5%. The job involves daytime work, but there is great flexibility in which days of the week you work.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that support your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
