We are looking for an engaged and empathetic person to support our client with a neurodevelopmental disorder who needs assistance around the clock. We are looking for someone who wants to work 75% with working hours scheduled between 08:00 and 21:00.

The young man is 20 years old and has a great interest in animals, football, video games, gym, nutrition, and health. He is a social and cheerful guy who appreciates variety in his daily life, with a stable foundation so that the days are predictable. He has his challenges, but with your personal support, we can create a nice and functional everyday life together. The young man may have difficulties with social interactions and communication, so it is important that you can express yourself clearly and simply and help interpret.

As an assistant, you will be an important part of the young man's daily life. You will contribute to ensuring that he has a meaningful and active life based on his conditions, needs, and functional variations. You will work a lot with preparation, support, and social stories to provide the client with a safe and structured everyday life. As an assistant, you will encourage the young man in his daily activities such as chores at home, cooking, and more. We are looking for someone who is caring, reliable, organized, structured, and has a desire to learn, support, and develop together with the young man and the rest of the assistance team.

A driver's license and access to a car are desirable. You also need to be smoke-free and preferably nicotine-free. (During working hours, it is required that you are nicotine-free.) Experience in personal assistance or working with individuals with functional variations is an advantage but not a requirement. The young man has assistance around the clock with waiting time/on-call at night.
