The Individual and Family Administration is responsible for services according to SoL and LSS, which include individual and family care and care for people with disabilities. Municipal citizens in need of social services can receive advice, support, and assistance. In most cases, our assistance and services are provided after an individual assessment as part of our authority exercise. We aim for the services we provide to lead to independence.

The operations focus on services for children, youth, and their parents, substance abuse issues, violence in close relationships, people with disabilities who need support in their daily lives, individuals in need of financial assistance, labor market measures, rehabilitation, and integration.

The care of people with disabilities is based on assistance decisions according to LSS and the Social Services Act. Within the pool, you will work in several areas such as personal assistance, mobile teams, group homes, daily activities, service housing, and social psychiatry.

The work involves being available when other staff are absent for various reasons. You will work within several different teams. Working in care for people with disabilities means supporting users in their homes and daily lives, based on the individual's specific needs and unique life situation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The job responsibilities are varied and may include providing support during authority contacts, personal care, daily chores such as cleaning and laundry, social documentation, support to attend activities, and support for meaningful engagement.

It is important that you have a professional approach and are attentive and flexible to the users' needs and wishes. Working in the pool entails extra high demands for flexibility regarding working hours and variation in job tasks.

We have a special pool agreement where you know in advance which days you are available. You will be booked for different shifts as needs arise in the operations. Work during the day, evening, on-call, and night. Work every other weekend.

You should be able to use planning tools and document in a digital system.

QUALIFICATIONS

Care education, child and leisure studies, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer is meritorious. We are looking for someone with experience and interest in working with people in this field. Experience working with individuals with various disabilities is an advantage. You should be able to work in a low-arousal manner with clear pedagogical support.

Good ability to communicate in both spoken and written form.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Upon employment, a criminal record extract must be presented. Professional experience is required.
