For a Living Kiruna
One thing is certain. With us, you make a difference. We are Kiruna, we often say. We are the healthcare staff who hold grandma's hand and the teacher who helps little brother read his first words. We are the childcare worker who helps someone grow every day and the social worker who does what it takes to change lives. We are the personal assistant who provides freedom and the librarian who brings literature close. We are the home support staff who drive to the villages in snowstorms like the midnight sun to be there. We are hundreds of competencies, thousands of people, and generations of experience who together ensure, care, inspire, teach, save lives, think innovatively, move cities, support each other, and take care of people. With pride and care. From mountains to city. Today and tomorrow for a living Kiruna. There is something beautiful in that. Do you also want to work for life, humanity, and the future in Kiruna municipality? Do you want to create value and make a real difference for what is important?
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As our HR administrator is on study leave, we are now looking for a substitute.
As an HR administrator, you provide administrative support to HR consultants, operations, and managers. You primarily work with personnel administration. You will assist in recruitment (such as advertising, interviews, reference checks, and appointments) and provide administrative support in various HR matters. The tasks also include gathering information, compiling statistics, and participating in payroll matters. Participation in collaboration groups within Kiruna municipality's administrations may also be included.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with experience in an administrative role, preferably within the public sector. Experience in the personnel area is an advantage. We prefer you to have relevant education in HR or equivalent work experience.
You need to have a good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written. The position requires good computer skills, and you should be open to digital solutions and systems.
The work involves both independent and team-based tasks. You will have contact with colleagues, employees, and managers in the organization. This requires you to be a social, flexible, and service-oriented person. You should be structured and quality-conscious. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Selection and interviews may occur continuously during the application period.
OTHER
To work with us, you must share Kiruna municipality's common values, where respect, responsibility, and collaboration are the guiding principles.
We offer a pleasant working environment and stimulating tasks, ensuring that you as an employee achieve a good balance between work and leisure.
We have many benefits, including free access to various training facilities up to 5000 SEK/year, rental cabins in the mountains, and the opportunity to salary exchange for days off.
We strive for gender balance and see diversity as a strength; we welcome employees from different backgrounds and work to make our workplaces accessible to all. Kiruna municipality sees full-time work as a right and part-time as an opportunity. Knowledge of Finnish, Sámi, and/or Meänkieli is an advantage, as Kiruna municipality is an administrative area for these languages.
Kiruna municipality has made a media call for this recruitment and therefore asks not to be contacted by advertising sellers or other recruitment service sellers.
