As a newly employed dental hygienist, you will also participate in a one-year introductory program that includes orientation and guidance at the clinic, as well as several training days.

The clinic in Strömsbro is modern and located two km from central Gävle, in the same building as ICA, the pharmacy, and the flower shop Gröna kullen. It is in close proximity to a golf course, ski trails, and beautiful walking paths. The clinic has ten treatment rooms and a separate operating room. The clinic in Ockelbo is a small family-oriented clinic with five treatment rooms, open four days a week. The clinic is located in the same building as the Health Center, Child Health Center, and several other healthcare and social care providers. Train, bus, and the center are within a short walking distance, where there are good train and bus connections to the entire region and further out in the country. Here you will also find beautiful surroundings that invite to a rich outdoor life. Free parking is available at both clinics.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a dental hygienist at Folktandvården Gävleborg, you will work clinically with children, adolescents, and adults, across the entire care spectrum. Furthermore, you will work in a team with dentists/dental nurses, and together you will always strive to provide the patient with quality care in a calm and caring environment. As a dental hygienist with us, after training and orientation, you will have the opportunity to expand your duties to include performing filling therapy, taking impressions, and clinical photography.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed dental hygienist or in the final stages of their education. You have a creative and analytical approach to work, and your personal qualities are characterized by good collaboration skills, flexibility, and commitment. You are also pedagogical and good at communicating with both patients and colleagues.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
