Social Services Mission

The mission of the Social Services is to support individuals who, due to disabilities, economic or social issues, require various forms of assistance and help.

Your Responsibilities

The role of a physiotherapist in the municipality involves providing home healthcare for individuals living in regular housing and in the municipality's special accommodations, as well as those in short-term care.

You will be part of a health and medical care team alongside occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses, and rehabilitation assistants.

In consultation with the individual, assessments of activity capacity and rehabilitation needs are made. You will actively work on rehabilitation within the municipal health and medical care, guide staff, and be responsible for assessments, training, follow-ups, and prescribing assistive devices.

You will collaborate closely with unit managers and care staff. This includes training staff groups in a rehabilitative approach and work techniques, providing advice to staff, and development.

You will work daytime from Monday to Friday.

Experience

Experience in municipal care and support is desirable, as well as experience working with various digital operational systems. Good language skills in both spoken and written form, as well as experience in documentation, are required. You need to be confident in your professional role, clear in communication, and structured in your work approach.

Qualifications

You are a licensed physiotherapist.

You have good pedagogical skills and find it easy to connect with patients, relatives, colleagues, and care staff. You are comfortable with computer-based documentation; we document in Lifecare HSL. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
