At our unit, we provide specialist care-based occupational therapy for patients admitted to Hudiksvall Hospital as well as patients referred from clinics at Gävle and Hudiksvall hospitals. We also have lymphedema therapy assignments for both primary and specialist care. Our unit consists of both less experienced occupational therapists and those with high competence and extensive experience. In addition to collaborating with other occupational therapists, you will also work with physiotherapists and rehabilitation assistants at our unit. Our unit has stepped into a digital platform where digital methods will become more common.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an occupational therapist with us, you will often work in a team and play an important role in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients in need of specialized care. You will encounter patients with complex and specific diagnoses, and your expertise will be a crucial part of their rehabilitation. Occupational therapists in our unit work across several different inpatient departments; stroke, medicine, orthopedics, cardiac intensive care, surgery, pediatrics, as well as specialized outpatient care in areas such as hand therapy, neurology, lymphedema therapy, pediatrics, rheumatology, memory clinics, etc. Please indicate your area of interest in your application.

We are looking for an engaged occupational therapist with experience and/or interest in specialist care! As a person, you are flexible, responsible, and solution-focused. You adapt easily and see opportunities in changes. You have the ability to plan and structure your work effectively and take responsibility for your tasks. You see the whole picture, act, and make decisions based on the best interests of the organization in your daily work. You have good collaboration skills and are attentive in your interactions with others.

In the role of occupational therapist, you must:
