The Culture and Leisure Department is tasked with promoting a rich cultural, recreational, and association life. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In March 2022, the new Burlöv Swimming Pool opened. The new facility operates a service that attracts all people regardless of age, gender, or ethnicity. The three visitor categories are the general public, schools, and associations. The theme is Life and Movement.

The facility offers school swimming for all 6-year-olds and 8-year-olds in the municipality, recreational swimming, water training, play, and a bistro. We also operate a modern gym with E-gym, group training in two group training rooms, one of which is Prama and the other follows a traditional model. There is also a multi-pool used for baby swimming, mini swimming, water aerobics, rehab, and swimming for people with disabilities. All these activities and services are run in-house. The facility offers generous opening hours every day of the week.

Your main responsibilities are to provide excellent service to our guests, supervise swimming in the pool, and ensure cleanliness and tidiness in the facility. Your tasks also include providing service to our guests at the reception and bistro. There is also an opportunity to be an instructor in the gym and group training.

QUALIFICATIONS

You need to be a competent swimmer. Lifeguard training, water aerobics instructor, or equivalent is an advantage.

We wish that you have documented work experience in swimming and wellness. If you have previously worked with children and youth or in service/sales or have been a leader, instructor, or fitness instructor within associations, it is a plus.

You enjoy working with people and show interest and understanding for others. You easily fit into different contexts and contribute to creating team spirit. You use your communication skills to create comfort and safety for both visitors and colleagues.
