Job Description

Are you looking for a role in a changing environment? We at Securitas in Lund are currently looking for someone interested in the role of response/security guard and relief Group Leader with us. In this role, you will be the person who responds to and makes dispatches when alarms are triggered by our customers. Does it sound exciting to quickly need to respond when required? As a response/security guard, you have an important role in our responsibility to protect our customers' property. In your role, you will protect buildings and premises against fire, theft, and damage. You do this by performing dispatches in connection with our customers' alarms being triggered.

The position also includes partial fire and rescue responsibilities with monthly and quarterly tests on fire alarms, as well as a smaller portion of administrative tasks. When the regular group leader is absent, you will replace their position and work with tasks such as handling extra orders, bookings, vacancies, and other administrative duties.

You will, for example:

• Protect our customers' property against fire, theft, and damage
• Report to the customer via information systems at each dispatch.
• Patrol customer sites
• Perform some parking duties
• Work as acting group leader when the regular leader is not on duty

Requirements

Mandatory

• You are a trained security guard with at least 1 year of experience in the industry
• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Driver's license B

Preferred if you

• have previously worked with similar tasks
• have a civilian or military security guard training
• Experience in leadership
• Experience from our support systems (e.g., Tools, GSP)
• 3 years of experience in the profession

As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized, and can handle periods of high work pace. You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions. We see that you are an independent person who trusts your own abilities, quickly understands problems, and solves them creatively. You have a systematic and meticulous approach with an eye for detail. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

For employment within Securitas Sverige AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to the respective legislation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legal compliance, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employers' organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
