Workplace Description

The Security Department is responsible for the operational protection and security of the Police Authority, which includes, among other things, the protection of property, employees, information, as well as handling security assessments and security matters.

Job Description

As the head of Employee Protection, you report to the Section Manager and are part of the section's management team, where you collectively are responsible for ensuring that assignments are carried out and for driving the authority's change and development work. You have particular responsibility for the group's operations in the security area and its results. As a group manager, you represent the entire Police Authority both internally and externally and work to strengthen trust in police operations.

Being a manager and leader within the Police Authority means creating security and building trust by exercising sincere, courageous, and attentive leadership with confidence in others' competence and ability. As a manager, you drive development by inspiring and encouraging reflection and feedback in a way that is based on following the law and treating people equally.

Qualifications

This is an opportunity for you who have:

• At least six months of continuous experience working as a supervisor, project manager, or similar (in the last five years)

• Relevant work experience in the security field

• Police degree or other relevant experience or education that the employer assesses as equivalent

• Experience in leading and participating in change and development work

• Documented knowledge in interrogation methodology, behavioral science, or human resources

• A valid driver's license (B)

• Good knowledge of Swedish

• Swedish citizenship

We consider it an advantage if you also have:

• Knowledge and practical experience of having worked as a manager for security protection in the area of personnel security and employee protection

• Ability to compile collected data

• Experience in conducting training

• Good knowledge of information security

• Experience working with victims and personal safety

• Experience in leading others towards set goals and results

• Management and leadership training

• Experience in a management team

• Experience in handling security-related work within a government agency or other larger organization
