Are you curious and driven by the desire to find faults and deficiencies through technical testing methods? As a testing engineer, you will inspect objects and pressurized devices at the customer's site using methods such as X-ray and ultrasound. By inspecting what we cannot see with the naked eye, you can contribute to a safer society!

About the role:

In the role of testing engineer, you will either be on-site with the customer performing the job or take a sample to analyze the material in one of Kiwa's laboratories. You will work with recurring inspections or preventive maintenance to measure the status and health of objects and their critical components and equipment. The work includes performing visual inspections, ultrasound testing, X-ray testing, and leak testing. By using various testing methods, we can test and inspect objects for what we cannot see with the naked eye and help the customer locate damages at an early stage to prevent potential costly failures. During a workweek, you will come into contact with several different objects such as pressure vessels, tanks, pipelines, and turbines.

We prefer that you live in the Kalmar or Karlshamn area. You will work from home and your place of employment will be our office in Växjö.

Do you have what it takes?

Are you a technically interested problem solver who is also communicative and responsible? Do you find it exciting to use advanced methods to find hidden faults and deficiencies? Then this is the right role for you!

You have:

· Technical high school education or equivalent engineering degree

· An interest in technology and people

· A valid driver's license (B)

· Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have previously worked as a testing engineer and have experience with various testing methods.

What can you expect from us in return?

Kiwa is today one of the most successful companies in inspection, testing, certification, and technical consulting, thanks to our employees who contribute safety and sustainability to our customers and society through their commitment and knowledge. Therefore, Kiwa invests heavily in its employees and their development. Through your daily work, interesting projects, and training, you and your skills will constantly develop as part of Kiwa! For us, teamwork is important, and together we create a positive work environment where we are all part of a larger community, the Kiwa community!

· Secure and stable employment - Kiwa has a collective agreement

· Generous wellness allowance

· Compensation for medical care, vaccinations, and the opportunity for a thorough health analysis

· A time bank so you can take time off when you want - not just on public holidays

· The opportunity to join Kiwa's ski trip with about 100 wonderful colleagues
