Job Description:

Primary care interventions for mental health are aimed at adult patients with mild to moderate mental health issues or mental illness. At our health center, psychologists and psychotherapists work closely with other professional groups to help patients achieve improved mental health and increased functional ability. We also collaborate with the municipality and social services when needed, and we work together with physiotherapists and occupational therapists regarding our patients.

The job responsibilities include psychological counseling, diagnostics, and systematic treatment based on evidence-based methods for conditions such as anxiety, depression, stress-related health issues, and crises. Often, this is done with shorter treatment interventions. We also have several group treatments. There are some questions where it is important to screen for ADHD and other developmental-related conditions. You will work with adults aged 18 and older. You will work independently but in close collaboration with colleagues and other professional categories.

We are looking for someone with experience in the above-mentioned tasks, preferably in primary care. You have knowledge in conducting suicide risk assessments and are attentive to the need for acute psychiatric care. You enjoy participating in development work and are confident in yourself.

We offer regular group supervision together with others in the psychosocial team. Flexible scheduling; we plan our working hours and time off together.

Brief description of the company:

The Hökarängen Health Center is owned and operated by some of the doctors at the health center, and we work on behalf of Region Stockholm. Our ambition is to run a suitably sized personal health center where patients feel kindly and professionally welcomed at all levels, and where we who work have the opportunity to provide good care in a good working environment.

Today, we have 7,000 registered patients and we are 22 permanent employees. Of these, 2 are psychologists and 1 psychotherapist/rehabilitation coordinator. The rest are doctors, district nurses, and nursing assistants.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION: We are primarily looking for you who are a licensed psychologist. Experience working in Take Care is an advantage.

EXPERIENCE: Having worked in primary care is an advantage.

PERSONAL: We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You have a positive attitude, are used to working independently, and have good collaboration skills. You have the ability to work in a structured and efficient manner with high quality.

EMPLOYMENT: We are looking for someone who wants to work full-time primarily, but part-time 80% and above is also possible. The employment is for a permanent position and will begin with a 6-month probationary period.
