Hornstulls Service House offers independent living and primarily targets individuals over 65 years old.

Our clients may have varying needs for both simple and more qualified health and medical care services. At Hornstulls Service House, nursing assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists work as a team around the resident to provide high-quality care. We are currently looking for a temporary physiotherapist for 6 months.

Your Role

As a physiotherapist with us, you will work with elderly individuals with multiple health issues. You will work in a team with an occupational therapist and two nurses. Your work will include preventing, assessing, and treating functional impairments that limit mobility or quality of life. You will evaluate, prescribe, and order technical aids and follow up on function and usage. You will make profession-specific assessments and participate in the team during care planning. The role also includes participating in team meetings and workplace meetings, as well as educating and mentoring staff in rehabilitation, ergonomics, transfer techniques, and aids. Your role is independent and self-driven, but you will also work together in a team with other employees and care recipients. You will be offered a varied job where you play an important part in providing our residents with security and a meaningful existence.

Your Competence and Experience

You should:

• be a licensed physiotherapist.
• be proactive and take initiative, able to work independently, and have a structured approach as well as good problem-solving skills.
• Enjoy working in a team and willingly share your knowledge.
• Have experience in home rehabilitation.
