About the position

We are now looking for a Care Responsible Nurse/Specialist Nurse (OVA) for the Nursing Area (OO) for highly specialized pediatric medicine and home care. Our operations are located in Solna and Huddinge and include inpatient care, day care, outpatient care, and home care. We care for patients with diseases of the blood, kidneys, liver, and stomach, as well as children and adolescents with cancer. Many patients feel better staying at home, and our home care team, SABH, enables care at home for many of the pediatric hospital's patients.

As OVA, you create opportunities for development, research, and education related to the areas of nursing operations. You report to the department manager within OO and together set goals for the role and prioritize tasks. As OVA, you are part of the OO management group and work in part of the assignment at Astrid Lindgren's Children's Hospital, among other things in networks for OVA and in the nursing steering group.

As part of the OVA assignment, you will:

• initiate care research for the patient groups in the nursing area
• initiate and drive care development activities, competence development, and education
• identify new knowledge within nursing, implement and coordinate routines and guidelines
• continuously work on improvements and quality measurements to maintain safe care of good quality
• provide professional support regarding nursing competence and competence ladders
• coach employees in development projects and in academic development
• assist the department manager and nursing managers in identifying, implementing, and following up on education, development, and research work.

The position is a permanent employment where the OVA assignment comprises 50%. You can combine your work as OVA with clinical duties within any of our operations, your own research, education, or other assignments that align with the OVA assignment.

Qualifications

• Swedish nursing license and specialist education in pediatrics
• Doctorate in nursing or care science. Merit in one of the organization's areas of focus is advantageous
• Experience in driving and leading projects within care and nursing
• Experience in leading change processes and implementing new evidence-based working methods and routines
• Good analytical skills and experience in using data and evidence to improve care quality
• Good verbal and written communication skills
