Job Advertisement: Nurse in Elderly Care

We are looking for a confident and experienced nurse with a genuine interest in elderly care. As a person, you are responsible, independent, and humble, with a strong ability to prioritize your tasks.

About the Position

You will work together with a colleague during your night shifts. You will be based at Enebergs elderly home in Norrtälje. Most of your work will be conducted via phone, providing advice, prescriptions, and assessments, etc. You will, of course, have medical support just a phone call away. Visiting patients is also part of the assignment.

The systems we work with include Procapita, TakeCare, Appva, Pascal, and Lifecare.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Phone consultations
• Medical assessments
• Planned patient visits and possible admissions
• Documentation

About You

For this position, you need to:

• Be a licensed nurse
• Have a B driver's license for manual cars and driving experience
• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

It is advantageous if you also have:

• Specialist training in elderly care or palliative care
• Experience in elderly care/dementia care
• Experience in phone consultations

You work with care in everything you do with great personal responsibility. You have the ability to prioritize and lead others in changing circumstances. Flexible and collegial collaboration is of great importance in the assignment.

We are a group of about 25 nurses within Tiohundra Säbo who work together in our nine facilities, days, evenings, and nights. During evenings and nights, we also have the basic home healthcare assignment. Together, we want to offer our patients the best elderly care in the municipality, an elderly care we all take pride in.
