BUP Neuropsychiatry Northwest is growing and is looking for a specialist nurse in psychiatry for a permanent position at our clinic in Solna.

With us, you will work in a multidisciplinary team where collaboration and a holistic approach are in focus! The work takes place during daytime.

The unit's mission is to conduct assessments and investigations of neuropsychiatric disabilities and to offer pharmacological treatment for ADHD. We work in a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychologists, medical secretaries, doctors, nurses, and a unit manager. Our goal is to provide the best possible care and increase accessibility for our target group, while also focusing on creating a workplace where we thrive and can develop together. BUP Stockholm Section Neuropsychiatry consists of One Way In and six neuropsychiatric clinics.

Job Description

As a specialist nurse, you will be responsible for medication follow-up for ADHD medications, as well as providing information and nursing interventions to patients and their guardians. The work involves close collaboration with colleagues, doctors, and other professionals at the clinic, as well as cooperation with care neighbors and external actors.

You will ensure that prescription requests and medication inquiries are handled correctly. An important area of work is to regularly review patient lists to follow up on medication treatments according to routine and pharmacological instructions. As a link between the unit's nurses and MLA, you are responsible for ensuring that the work is conducted in accordance with process maps and pharmacological instructions. You are an expert in your field and contribute your expertise to support colleagues.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse with specialist training in psychiatry. Experience in child psychiatry or pediatric care and/or work with medication initiation and follow-ups for ADHD medications is an advantage.

You enjoy working independently and have a flexible and structured way of organizing your workday. You have good collaboration skills that facilitate your contact with patients and guardians as well as with colleagues. You are eager to contribute to a good work environment and have an easy time communicating in both speech and writing.
