Älvsjö BVC is Hiring a Child Health Nurse
Älvsjö BVC is looking for a Child Health Nurse for weeks 30, 31, and 32.
Welcome to Älvsjö Child Health Center located in the center of Älvsjö with excellent transportation connections, about 10 minutes by commuter train from the central station. Älvsjö BVC is a region-driven child health center.
We are looking for a pediatric nurse or district nurse with experience from child health centers who can work independently. It is advantageous if you have worked with TakeCare and have completed training in hearing screening for children. We are five child health nurses working at Älvsjö BVC. During the summer, you will work with two experienced, engaged, and friendly colleagues.
Älvsjö BVC is a family center-like operation, with close collaboration between BMM, Parent Reception, and Open Preschool. The BVC, BMM, and Parent Reception are in the same building, and the Open Preschool is a short distance away.
The position is full-time/part-time for 3 weeks, and the start date is week 30 or as agreed. We will continuously review applications and may call for interviews before the application deadline.

For patient-related work within the Stockholm County Healthcare Area:
- background checks are applied before hiring decisions according to current guidelines.
- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
- in addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
