BUP Neuropsychiatry Northwest is looking for a nurse, preferably with a specialist education in psychiatry, for our clinic in Solna (Västra Skogen) for a twelve-month temporary position.

Unit's mission

The unit's mission is to conduct assessments and investigations of neuropsychiatric disabilities and to offer pharmacological treatment for ADHD. We work in interdisciplinary teams consisting of psychologists, medical secretaries, doctors, nurses, and a unit manager. Our goal is to provide the best possible care and increase accessibility for our target group, while also focusing on creating a workplace where we thrive and can develop together. BUP Stockholm Section Neuropsychiatry consists of One Way In and six neuropsychiatric clinics located throughout Greater Stockholm.

Job description

As a nurse, you will closely collaborate with the unit's doctors. The work will primarily involve initiating and following up on medication treatments after the investigation is completed, as well as providing information and support to patients and their guardians.

The work also involves collaboration with neighboring care providers and external partners to ensure good care and contribute to the development of the operations. If the operations allow, there is an opportunity for remote work up to one day a week. You will work alongside six other nurses who handle incoming inquiries via TeleQ and AlltidÖppet and support each other in daily patient work.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably with a specialist education in psychiatry. Previous experience in psychiatric care for children and adolescents or work with medication initiation and follow-up of ADHD medications is also an advantage.
