Systems Engineer in Electronic Warfare Systems

Are you an engineer with experience in technical systems work? We are now looking for a new employee for our unit that works with electronic warfare systems. In close collaboration with an experienced team, you will have the opportunity to influence both the details and the overall picture in projects that strengthen the capabilities of the Armed Forces and Sweden. Your work is significant at every step, from needs and ideas to delivery and follow-up.

About the Position

As a systems engineer, you will play a central role in the development of advanced technical systems while contributing to enhancing our capabilities in electronic warfare. You will participate in exciting technical systems work where complex products and innovative solutions are the focus.

Your role involves shaping the overall requirements for the systems and balancing technical wishes from various areas to optimize the design. Here, you will work on weighing precision, performance, and efficiency to create systems that deliver maximum operational effect – within given economic and time constraints.

You will also be responsible for developing clear and well-formulated system specifications that follow established principles for requirements management. By working according to ISO/IEC 15288 standards, you will become an important part of ensuring that system design, requirements management, and design are conducted in a structured and qualitative manner.

This is the role for you who want to combine technical expertise with strategic thinking and create solutions that make a real difference.

The position is located in Stockholm, and travel occurs frequently, both domestically and internationally.

About You

We are looking for a civil or university engineer, systems scientist, or someone with equivalent education. You should have basic knowledge in at least one of the following areas: systems engineering, integrated logistics support, information security, configuration management, or system safety. Very good Swedish and good English in both spoken and written form, as well as a B driver's license, are required.

Preferred qualifications include education in system design, configuration management, requirements management, and requirements specification work. Experience in technical systems work, system design work, and project work is also advantageous. Additionally, good knowledge of electronic warfare systems and/or radio technology, both theoretically and practically, is meritorious.

Personal qualities are of great importance to us. We welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds and experiences and are looking for someone who enjoys collaborating with others, is responsive, and solves problems constructively. You are self-driven, take initiative, and have the ability to plan and organize your work. We seek someone with strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented approach, combined with perseverance to drive complex technical challenges to completion.
