About the position

Arlanda Express wants to strengthen its property department with a technical manager. This is a key role in ensuring that Arlanda Express's properties and facilities always maintain a high standard, both for travelers and employees. The main responsibility of the operation is to ensure that Arlanda Express has a functioning property that is intact and clean with high availability at all times, to provide customers with a safe, fast, and reliable travel experience to and from Arlanda Airport.

The role of technical manager is a newly established position where you will be responsible for the operation, function, and monitoring of technical systems within the property portfolio, including areas such as outdoor environment, buildings, plumbing, ventilation, process systems, electrical power and lighting, elevators, and escalators. You will have the opportunity to work both strategically and operationally, in close collaboration with external suppliers and internal colleagues – primarily the telecommunications technicians, as well as the company's operations and property manager.

Your future tasks

Your everyday work will be varied and involve ongoing management work, monitoring of contracts, and participation in large development projects. You will among other things:

• Be the contact person for property-related issues towards external parties.
• Plan and follow up on authority inspections and ensure compliance.
• Work in the DeDU system with operational plans and maintenance.
• Perform quality controls and document completed work.
• Analyze energy data and develop action plans for reduced consumption.
• Procure and follow up on contracts for operational and maintenance services.
• Develop and follow up on budgets related to your areas of responsibility.
• Participate in projects related to e.g. the expansion of the depot and replacement of technical systems.
• Compile and analyze statistics for property operations related to established KPIs and establish action plans based on these.
• Establish, follow, and forecast budgets for the areas of responsibility mentioned above and code and approve invoices.

We are looking for someone who has

• Post-secondary education in property technology at least at the YH level.
• Experience in property technology and operations.
• Experience in project management and construction contracts.
• Experience in budget responsibility.
• Basic knowledge of the Planning and Building Act and the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning's building regulations.
• Training and experience in construction work environment coordination, systematic fire protection work, and project management.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Very good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Project).
• Knowledge of contract law is an advantage.

• Security clearance: Security clearance and background check via the Security Police are part of the process, as work on protected objects occurs.
