The Division of Children, Education, and Culture is responsible for 31 preschools, 16 primary schools including adapted primary school, Nyköping High School, Campus Nyköping, as well as the City Library and children's culture.

In Nyköping's preschools, we work together based on a pedagogical idea: The Best Preschool for Children - an equitable preschool of high quality. The preschools are divided into four areas, each with a principal and a group of deputy principals. Each area consists of 6-10 preschools, about 100-120 staff, and approximately 500 children. Our creative reuse center, Nybygget, is a great asset and strongly contributes to entrepreneurial learning, creative teaching, and sustainable development.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a development educator, you will primarily work as a preschool teacher, 80%, but will have a role as a development educator for 20% of your position. You will work with development processes aimed at improving the quality of one of the municipality's preschools. The assignment is based on the specific development needs of the unit, and the work is done in close collaboration with the unit's team leaders, preschool teachers, and childcare workers, where everyone has an important role.

The development educators do not have a fixed placement in any unit but change units over time based on quality assessments and development needs that arise in different preschools. Together with principals, deputy principals, and development leaders, the development educators work towards set goals regarding quality and equity. An exciting and developing job.

Permanent employment as a Preschool Teacher 100% in Nyköping Municipality. The assignment as a development educator, 20%, is written for two years at a time.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a preschool teacher degree and experience working in a preschool.

You lead the teaching in the role of preschool teacher and actively work as a good role model in the assignment.

You have a strong commitment to preschool development issues and can work independently.

You have knowledge of the preschool's systematic quality work and can support and lead colleagues in that work.

You have a positive outlook, instill trust, collaborate well with others, and have a solution-focused approach.

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
