With us, you will work alongside qualified and experienced teaching colleagues who have high expectations of themselves, each other, and the students. At Tomtaklintskolan, you will naturally collaborate with your subject colleagues in the municipality.

In Trosa municipality, we offer students the choice of three modern languages: French, Spanish, and German. As a teacher of modern languages, you will teach at both of the municipality's secondary schools, two and a half days at each school. Your employment, potential mentorship, professional development, and conference time will be at Tomtaklintskolan.

In Trosa municipality, we work with a "one-to-one" approach, using Chromebooks, and in addition to textbooks, we use Google Classroom as a working tool.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You have:

• Teaching certification with authorization to teach Spanish in grades 6-9.
• Good knowledge and experience of formative assessment to follow up and evaluate the activities.
• Pedagogical awareness and knowledge to adapt your teaching based on the students you meet.

Your engagement and genuine curiosity for languages inspire both your students and colleagues. As a person, you are unpretentious, willingly share your knowledge, and are open to learning more from others. We see it as natural that you contribute to and are part of the school's systematic quality work.

You are a clear and present leader, both in and out of the classroom. You have a positive attitude and a solution-oriented approach. By creating a safe foundation, you want to give students the best possible conditions for learning and achieving their knowledge goals.

You care about ensuring that students feel involved and understand the background of the decisions made. Therefore, you involve students so that they have influence over the teaching, always with your leadership as a safe point.

Together with the students, you work to create the climate you want in the classroom. You are attentive, a good listener, and have a positive view of people. You share yourself and strive to create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
