Skogsängsskolan is newly built with beautiful facilities and a fantastic schoolyard. We have grown in recent years and are now a K-6 school with approximately 480 students. At Skogsängsskolan, we work together with a focus on collegial learning. We take a proactive approach to create good conditions for students' learning and safety. The school operates on the principle of placing the student at the center from a holistic perspective. We consciously work with differentiated and language-developing methods for higher goal achievement. We have both a counselor and a school nurse full-time, as well as a student health team that works preventively. To succeed in this work, we place great importance on norms, values, safety, and study peace. Part of this work includes having an organized and well-functioning break activity.

We are advertising three positions for teaching in any of the following subjects. All positions are permanent, but the grade you teach and the extent of your work varies for the different positions. See below.

• 1 position for Teacher in Wood and Metal Crafts 100%. Teaching occurs in grades 3-6.
• 1 position for Teacher in Textiles 50%. Teaching occurs in grades 3-6.
• 1 position for Teacher in Home Economics 30%. Teaching occurs in grade 6.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher with us, you will teach full-time in your subject area. With your knowledge and engagement, you provide our students with the opportunity to learn and develop their creative sides. You will be part of a team at the school and have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues. As a teacher, you are creative and adapt your teaching to the different levels and needs of the students. Of course, you will plan and implement your teaching according to the curriculum, Lgr22. For the position of craft teacher, there are new craft classrooms available for your use.

QUALIFICATIONS

We expect that you, as an applicant, have a teaching degree and a teaching license with qualifications to teach the relevant subject. You may also have ongoing education to be eligible for these positions. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form and feel comfortable using IT tools in your work. It is advantageous if you have experience teaching according to the current curriculum.

We place great importance on personal qualities and see that you are a leader who can adapt your leadership style in the classroom and can plan and follow up on your work. You have an easy time communicating with both adults and children. We believe that you want to develop in your role as a teacher and contribute to the school's continued development. You are an engaged employee with good collaboration skills who can build trust and listen to various needs.
