We are now looking for a wood and metal craft teacher for a part-time position of 50% for grades 4-6.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be responsible for planning, leading, and teaching wood and metal craft in grades 4-6. You will evaluate your own teaching based on students' results and co-plan and assess with colleagues. As a teacher, you are responsible for creating a positive and creative learning environment so that students feel curiosity and a desire to learn. Mentorship is not included in the position. You will work together with other engaged and professional colleagues to develop teaching and create a safe, inspiring, and challenging environment for the students.

Leadership in the classroom and collaboration among colleagues are considered crucial for students' results. We are driving a long-term school development effort with a focus on planning teaching and reading development. The focus now and moving forward is to develop processes and routines to work systematically and sustainably over time to increase safety and study peace, school attendance, and goal fulfillment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has/is:

• A certified teacher with qualifications in the subject of craft,
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish,
• Good ability to use digital tools as support in the work, e.g., Word, Outlook, Teams.

We consider it an advantage if you have previous experience teaching in primary school.

Your personal qualities are important to us, and we will place great emphasis on them. You are structured, responsible, clear, and confident in your leadership. You create and maintain good relationships with both colleagues and students and guardians.

Your ability to base your teaching on students' strengths is a success factor, and you have the ability to inspire and motivate your students. You are engaged and positive and have a strong interest in each individual student's knowledge and social development. Your attitude is that everyone can develop and succeed with the right conditions and support.

You are used to working independently and making decisions but can also collaborate in a team. Working with our students means that no day is like the other. The day's condition can determine which demands and activities work, so you need to be flexible and able to adapt your working methods to the needs of the operation.
