LBS – Kreativa Gymnasiet in Nyköping was established in 2010 and offers higher education preparatory programs in the Technology and Aesthetic programs with the following specializations: game development, game graphics, graphic design, photography and film, as well as music production. The school has approximately 200 students and 20 staff members. We are now looking for an English teacher for our institution.

Your Mission

We now offer a 100% position for teaching English. The position also includes mentorship. You will also play an important role in continuously developing the school's education together with your colleagues. As a teacher at LBS, you are highly involved in the school's systematic quality work and pedagogical development.

Your Profile

Primarily, we are looking for a qualified teacher with a focus on English. You should possess strong skills in both written and spoken English and have a deep interest in literature and language development. We appreciate if you are creative in your teaching approach and can engage students through innovative and interactive methods. Experience in integrating technology into teaching and a willingness to contribute to students' overall language comprehension and communication skills are highly valued.

We are looking for someone who, in addition to your sharp subject competence, wants to contribute with engagement, humor, and humility to our school. Together with the principal and colleagues, you take responsibility for the school's pedagogical development and subject development, as well as for developing your own professional competence. You are creative in your planning and execution of your teaching, create a desire to learn, and have the ability to see students as individuals with different needs and motivations. In the classroom, you are a confident leader and are good at building relationships with both students and parents. It is an advantage if you have other creative skills or interests.

Other

The position is a permanent employment with an initial probationary period of 6 months (provided you meet the requirements of the Education Act). Start date according to agreement.
