The Adult Psychiatric Reception in Ängelholm belongs to the area of operation (VO) adult psychiatry Helsingborg and is part of the administration of Psychiatry, habilitation, and aids. Here, patients with affective disorders, anxiety disorders, and various forms of personality disorders and neuropsychiatric conditions are primarily assessed and treated. The reception in Ängelholm is at the forefront of development and works with team-based care. Thus, you will get to work with and contribute to psychiatric care characterized by collaboration, openness, and quality.

The reception consists of about 25 employees from various professional categories, including medical secretaries, doctors, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and rehabilitation coordinators.

In the autumn of 2024, the reception will launch a new operation. A digital unit for the area's general psychiatric patients aimed at increasing access to psychological interventions and treatments through new digital care forms. You will have the opportunity to be part of this new unit from the start as part of your assignment. You will also have the chance to join us on a more overarching exciting development journey into the digitalized future of healthcare with all that it entails.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for two medical secretaries to join our team!

As a medical secretary with us, you are an important part of the teamwork. Your main responsibilities include organizing and structuring the administrative work at the reception.

One position involves a shared assignment where you work both at the reception and within our new digital unit. The other position is entirely focused on reception work.

You will be one of our six medical secretaries and support other employees in their daily work. The tasks are varied and include, among other things, writing journals via MedSpeech in Melior, registrations in various systems (where Pasis is the primary), some telephone service, mail handling, and support to the reception staff.

In psychiatry, the law on psychiatric compulsory care (LPT in outpatient care) is applied, where the secretary has an important administrative role. You will also participate in our conferences such as distribution conferences, treatment conferences, and APT (workplace meetings).

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with education in Health and Medical Care Administration 80 credits (KY/400 credits (YH) or equivalent medical secretary education. We use the systems Melior, MedSpeech, and PASIS and would like you to have knowledge of these systems. Furthermore, general good IT skills in a Windows environment are considered meritorious. Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are required for the position. You also need to have good knowledge of medical terminology.
