Job Responsibilities
We are now looking for a teacher for grades 4-6 to Augustenborg School! You will be part of a team of teachers who together plan and are responsible for the education and development of the students. Your focus is on creating the best conditions for each student in a safe and trusting environment. You will teach in a grade at the middle school level where you will use the school's structures and methods for successful teaching. You will work alongside two other teachers and a lead teacher, and together you will be responsible for teaching in our three parallel classes. Your role includes mentorship for some of our students. As a mentor, you will have specific responsibility for a group of students that you will have the opportunity to follow more closely.
Qualifications
You are a certified primary school teacher for grades 4-6. It is advantageous to have qualifications to teach mathematics and science subjects. The school is working to develop genre pedagogy and SingMa mathematics. It is beneficial if you have knowledge and experience in this area. As an employee, you lead yourself in your role. You find it easy to create relationships and enjoy a varied job with a lot of responsibility. You are easy to collaborate with and are both flexible and curious. In the classroom, you have a clear leadership style. You are a team player. Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work and with good knowledge and experience, you work effectively with relevant digital tools.

About the Workplace
Augustenborg School is a primary school located in the Augustenborg district of Malmö. An area known for its green initiatives and urban sustainability projects. The school has been around since 1952. It is a K-9 school with about 700 students. We are a multicultural school with students and staff from all corners of the world. Here, there are curious students with a great desire to learn. The school's vision is “Here we learn together in a safe environment.
