Committed Art Teacher Needed at Bjursås School Area

Bjursås School Area is looking for a committed art teacher for a temporary position during the autumn term of 2025.

The Bjursås school area consists of three schools: Bjursåsskolan F-9 (two school buildings), Grycksboskolan F-6, and Sågmyraskolan F-6. All schools are rural schools and are close to beautiful green and forest areas, as well as offering good opportunities for outdoor and sports activities. The school area has about 600 students and up to 100 staff members. The work of the school area is led by a principal, and each school unit has an assistant principal.

We are looking for someone who:

Job Responsibilities

You will teach art to students in grades 3-9. The teaching will take place in the facilities of Bjursåsskolan and Grycksboskolan. The role also includes mentorship for students at Bjursåsskolan 7-9, and you will be part of the high school team. The position also includes being a resource in certain classes as needed. As a teaching teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the teaching in relation to students' learning and the school's governing documents.

Qualifications

The following is required for the role:

• Teaching qualification and certification in the subject of art.

You are a responsible and clear educator with a positive attitude and good communication skills. You have a good approach and find it easy to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are flexible regarding short-term and long-term changes, which are part of the educational work.

Group dynamics are important to us, so we place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Desirable Qualifications

• You have good knowledge of making adjustments for students in need of support.

Employment Conditions

Fixed-term full-time employment, starting from 2025-08-11 until 2026-01-07.
