Fors School is part of the Fors/Nordanö principal area, which consists of two schools located in the outskirts of Avesta. The school, situated in the community of Fors but close to nature, currently has about 120 students. It is important that all students feel safe and enjoy their time with us, and at our schools, we actively work to create good conditions for learning.
We are now looking for an engaged teacher. Are you the one we are looking for?
RESPONSIBILITIES
The position consists of approximately 70% teaching in textile crafts, with the remaining time allocated to teaching in the after-school program if you are qualified for this.
You will be responsible for textile crafts in grades 3-6 at Fors School.
The teaching in textile crafts is divided and takes place at Fors School and Karlbo School.
This position includes planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching both individually and in collaboration with work teams. An important part of the work is to systematically follow the students' knowledge development. The work is carried out according to current routines for individual development plans and written assessments.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has the ability to motivate and create engagement while being a clear leader. You are confident in yourself, and through your way of leading and organizing, you create a safe and educational teaching situation. You are attentive and value collaboration with students, colleagues, and guardians. You can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
You have a good understanding of how different people absorb knowledge, as well as the ability to adapt your teaching style at both group and individual levels.
