We are now looking for a high school teacher in Social Studies for hourly employment

Agila Institute VUX provides adult education in several locations, including Avesta, Falun, and Västerås. We have chosen to work in a small school format and are not part of a large corporation.

We are looking for a high school teacher for distance education with excellent pedagogical skills and a positive attitude towards our students. You should be flexible, open, and have good collaboration skills. We place great value on your commitment, pedagogical competence, and mentoring abilities.

We have chosen to specialize in vocational training in healthcare and social services, where students are then employed as nursing assistants. The vocational training includes studying Swedish and Social Studies.

There are good opportunities to adjust your workload according to your preferences. The position is best suited for you who want a workload corresponding to about 10-15% and want to work on a fixed-term contract with hourly pay.

If you also have qualifications in Swedish as a second language at the high school level, we can offer more hours.

Requirements for the position:

You must have a teaching license and qualifications in Social Studies at the high school level

We use IT daily, so good computer skills are a requirement.
