Job Responsibilities

You will teach mathematics, science, and technology in grades 7-9. You are responsible for planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of your teaching in relation to students' learning and the school's governing documents. The role includes creating a safe and stimulating environment for our students. In your work, you are expected to use digital tools as a natural part of your teaching. The role also includes being a mentor, which means you will support and coach students in their development, conduct development talks, and maintain close dialogue with guardians and students. You will be part of subject teams and work teams with good opportunities for individual development and collegial learning. Within the subject team, there are good opportunities for collaboration and development within the subject and teaching.

Qualifications

The following is required for the role:

• Teaching certification with qualifications in mathematics, science subjects, and technology for grades 7-9. For this position, you who hold a teaching certification with subject qualifications for lower grades than advertised may still be considered a qualified applicant, provided you are willing to further your education in the relevant subject(s). In the event of employment, a further education plan will be developed together with the recruiting manager, where education is part of and included in the position.
• Familiarity with current governing documents.
• Good digital competence.

We see you as a teacher who builds your teaching on close pedagogical relationships and who has a high competence to meet students in their individual development based on their experiences, prior knowledge, and abilities. You are engaged in school development issues and want to develop solution-focused together with other colleagues at Britsarvsskolan.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience working with students in need of adjustments and special support in teaching.
• Familiarity with current governing documents.
• Experience in pedagogical development work.

Employment Conditions

Permanent full-time employment with a start date of 2025-08-11.
