Stureskolan is looking for a licensed leisure educator

Stureskolan is a municipal F-6 school with four leisure departments located in the center of Hedemora, close to forests and nature and Sveaparken, which is Hedemora's city park.

About 300 students attend the school. The staff works in teams where one team operates around a grade or a subject.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed leisure educator, teacher for leisure centers, or preschool teacher.

You work relationally and value collaboration with colleagues highly. You are confident and secure in your professional role and create an enjoyable learning environment for all. You are positive about physical activity and can and want to work with break activities and outdoor education. You are well acquainted with the curriculum for primary school and leisure centers. In collaboration with colleagues, you work to develop yourself and your teaching as well as the pedagogical work of the school and leisure center.

Engagement, empathy, and understanding of others are important qualities. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
