Främbyskolan is an F-6 school with approximately 300 students. Here, we have elementary school and after-school care that work together in teams to support our students' development. The primary resource of the school is the educators who work here. Främbyskolan continuously works on our pedagogical, physical, and social learning environment. Additionally, we have access to an unusually rich local environment with forests and lakes within walking distance. We utilize these resources in teaching throughout the year and through outdoor pedagogy in various subjects.

The students at Främbyskolan are encouraged to be independent, creative, and take responsibility, but we as a school and all our staff have the ultimate responsibility to enable students to succeed. In all our work, we aim to help our students grow into individuals who feel both pride and satisfaction in their schoolwork and personal development.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for you, a teacher for grades F-3 or 4-6, who is a clear leader. The role includes mentorship, collaboration in teams, and planning, implementing, and evaluating the pedagogical work in your grade team. We see that you are a creative educator who easily collaborates with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are confident in your teaching role and work with a strong belief in all students' abilities and are expected to be active in the school's development work.

Qualifications

The following is required for the role:

• We are looking for someone who is a qualified elementary school teacher for grades F-3 or 4-6
• Teaching license
• Familiarity with the school's governing documents

• Trained VFU supervisor

Employment Conditions

The positions are permanent full-time positions. Start date by agreement, but the need exists from the start of the school year 25/26. A probationary period may be applied if there is a need for assessment.
