The Learning Sector is responsible for all municipal activities within preschool, primary school, leisure centers, adapted primary school, secondary school, adult education, and Vansbro Dance and Music School. We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher to teach Craft, Home Economics, or Music and Mathematics – in combination with another subject.

You will

• work purposefully to ensure our students leave school with good knowledge, self-esteem, and faith in the future
• be responsible for creating a positive and creative learning environment so that students feel curiosity and a desire to learn
• together with the work team in collegial learning create opportunities for all students to succeed
• create inspiration and motivation for both students and colleagues
• experience community and a well-functioning student health service that works directly at the school
• have the opportunity to lead development opportunities in various projects
• experience a well-functioning collaboration at all levels
• stay updated with current research in school development
• individualize and vary teaching based on students' needs
• document, follow up, and evaluate.

You must have

• a teaching license to teach grades 7-9, or you are studying the last term of your teacher education and will obtain your teaching license this year
• be well acquainted with the school's governing documents
• be able to individualize and vary teaching based on students' needs
• have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
• have good IT skills.

Before employment, a valid extract from the National Police Board's criminal record must be submitted.

It is meritorious if you also have

• various subject qualifications such as Craft, Home Economics, or Music and Mathematics – in combination with another subject
• experience in mentorship
• experience of working within a politically governed organization.
