The Child and Youth Rehabilitation is an organization responsible for habilitative efforts for children and adolescents aged 0-17 with movement disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and/or autism. We take a holistic view of the child's/adolescent's needs and follow their development over time. In Hudiksvall, we are an engaged interdisciplinary team working closely with the team in Bollnäs, which creates good accessibility for our patients.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, you will work with all target groups. We meet patients and guardians at the clinic, at home, in preschool/school, and other places in the patient's environment. Today, we also offer a high proportion of digital healthcare contacts. Changes in the job description may be possible if you have a greater interest in working more focused on the autism and/or intellectual disability target group, where you primarily work with assessment and treatment related to time, structure, and cognitive support.

Your main job responsibilities

• assessment and treatment of activity/participation in daily life
• fitting and follow-up of assistive devices
• supervision/training/group activities for patients and guardians
• collaboration with other healthcare and municipal services

QUALIFICATIONS

As an occupational therapist with us, you need to have good collaboration skills and be attentive and communicative as the work is varied and our individual meetings are largely shaped by whom we meet. You take your own initiatives and are responsible for driving your processes forward based on the needs of the patient and the organization. You also have a good ability to plan and prioritize your work and your efforts to help others with problem-solving in daily life.

To succeed in the role, you should

• be a licensed occupational therapist
• hold a B driver's license

For this position, it is advantageous if you have further education or experience working with children or adults with disabilities.

Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented.
